This project aims at sensitizing underprivileged children, special children and senior citizens on importance of celebrating eco-friendly festivals and its positive effect on our environment.
Special activity session on making of an eco-friendly Ganesh Idol was organized for students as students were taught how to make environmental friendly Ganesh idol and benefits of the same.
Children were guided by Yes I Can team members as well as teachers from We For You charitable trust and children were motivated to make their idols from soil.
On similar way senior citizen in old age homes were sensitized about importance of eco-friendly Ganesh festival and they were encouraged to take up idol prepared by specially abled students for old age home festival celebrations. Special students too engaged in making of eco-friendly idols to exhibit to create an awareness.
