Saksham with Beyond Boundaries

VISION is most important in elder care then Sight - We are proud to share that we completed our project known as Beyond Boundaries in Saksham where we trained visually challenged girls as geriatric caregivers. The project focuses more on how visually challenged can use their other senses then sight and help elderly in terms of acupressure / foot reflexology and general well being.
You can too give them an opportunity by inviting them for a session for seniors at your place and colonies. Say Yes I Can and write to neha.yesicanfoundation@gmail.com

Experiential learning at Yes I Can

Yes I can Foundation is very proud to share that we have successfully completed our first ( First in India) batch of transgenders in geriatric care.
Our Journey started when we trained our first Transgender as a trainer in Geriatric training. We did not stop there but we wanted to empower young transgenders as they look after old transgenders.
Apart from that aim is to include them in society by providing them livelihood opportunities by serving senior citizens in the society.
We specially thank CSSC - RRTC ( ministry of social justice and empowerment Govt of India for certification and support)
We also thank all our supporters and team of trainers and volunteers.
How you can help as a next step
1- reach out to us for senior citizen care ( few hours each day)
2- include our transgender caregiver
3- you can also reach out to us for trial base for a day if you are initially nit comfortable.
4- if you are a senior citizen - give us opportunity where we will send train transgender caregiver for few hours and foundation will pay on your behalf for first trial.
